BTS partners with Oreo for hotteok-flavored cookies

BTS is getting their own Oreo flavor for a limited time — and of course it's purple!

Oreo on Tuesday night announced that it has partnered with the South Korean supergroup for hotteok-inspired cookies, marking BTS' first global snack partnership.

Hotteok is a brown sugar syrup-filled pancake popular in South Korea.

According to Forbes, the BTS cookies will be purple, a nod to the group's fandom color, and will feature 13 different embossment designs. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook designed the embossments to celebrate their 13th anniversary in June.

"In Korea, there's a national snack called hotteok," Jin was quoted as saying. "We wanted to share with everyone the kinds of dessert flavors Koreans enjoy."

The BTS Oreos will be available for presale starting on June 1, at OREO.com/UnwrapTheCollab.

It will be available at retailers starting June 8.
