HIV/AIDS advocacy organization thanks Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach

HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and advocacy organization GMHC on Wednesday morning thanked Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach for visiting their New York City offices to learn about the organization's services and the issues involved in HIV/AIDS.

Wurtzbach had made HIV-AIDS advocacy one of her missions as Miss Universe. She had also earlier announced that she would get publicly tested in New York with the aim of decreasing the stigma about the disease. — DVM, GMA News
