Ina Feleo reflects on her fitness journey
Ina Feleo has been documenting her fitness journey on Instagram, where she has been an inspiration for her followers in getting fit and healthy.
The Kapuso actress on Friday reflected on her lifestyle with a before and after photo from when she first started the BBG (Bikini Body Guide) fitness and nutrition program.
"Left photo is after completing BBG round 1 and then resting from the program for a while, Right is today, 3 weeks from finishing BBG 2. Consistency pays off!" she wrote.
"Two things I noticed that always play a big part in transformation are food and resistance training. Resistance training or WEIGHTS really helps give shape to my body, while the food I eat dictates whether or not I'm going to look bloated or fit."
Ina opened up that going on a fitness journey does not necessarily mean depriving herself of the food that she loves.
"When I eat too little (I get moody) and I also don't look as toned. Whereas when I eat what I feel my body needs (promise this includes rice) I look more fit and shapely. Yesterday I had a feast eating barbecue, laing, bicol express, adobo and rice, and then a sausage and brownie ala mode in the evening; but it didn't necessarily cancel out all my hard work:) Wag lang everyday..." she wrote.
"I love fitness and its really a lifestyle now, but I also don't want it to get in the way of me actually enjoying life. on that note, pushing through with Week 21!!!" —JST/KVD, GMA News
