Iya Villania to mamas who can't workout during pregnancy: 'It's OK, every pregnancy is different'

Kapuso actor-host Iya Villania may be on her 38th week and expected to give birth anytime soon, but there's no stopping her from working out.

On Instagram Stories, she documented her work out sessions, jogging with friends and carrying heavy loads at the gym. Iya assured her concerned followers that it's all doctor-approved.

She also wrote a message to mamas who can't workout the way she does because of complications.

"For the mamas who wish they could move and do as much as I do but can't due to complications, it's okay..."

Iya said she is just making the most out of her current pregnancy and clarified she wasn't seeking attention.

"I'm not here to seek attention or make anyone feel bad. Every pregnancy is different for every mama! I'm just making the most of this pregnancy cause who knows how the next will be (If there will even be a next)."

She said she has always been praying for Leon's health and happiness and that everything she's doing is what God's will for her to inspire other moms.

"Everyday I'm hoping and praying that Leon is happy, healthy and safe and that everything I'm doing is right. That everything I'm doing is what God wills for me to do hopefully inspire and be an example to others who may be afraid and are being limited by the voices of the world."

Iya said she's just like any mom who wants the best for the baby and the whole family.

"All a mama would want is the best for her baby and family, and should anything go wrong, the blame should most definitely not be put on the mother."

Despite having many people doubt her fitness choices, Iya said she believes God designed "bodies in such an amazing way that it will tell you when there are things you need to be wary of. Respect your body and respect the signs."

She ended her message with an advice to all expecting moms.

"So mamas, you do what you think is best for your baby, your family and yourself! Coz a happy mama is a happy home." — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
