PHL one of the most emotional countries in the world — study
The Philippines is one of the most emotional countries in the world last year, according to the Gallup 2019 Global Emotional Report.
The study, conducted among 151,000 adults in over 140 countries worldwide, used 10 questions to gauge the positive and negative daily experiences of people and their emotions towards these.
Six in 10 Filipinos "reported experiencing positive or negative emotions" the day before the survey, according to the results.
Also having the same score as the Philippines are Niger, Liberia, and Ecuador.

Meanwhile, at the other end of the spectrum were Azerbaijan, Belarus, and Latvia, with only fewer than four in 10 residents reported having any positive or negative feelings about their experiences on the day before the survey.
Some of the questions in the poll tackled topics such as having a good rest, being treated with respect, smiling or laughing a lot, as well as experiencing physical pain, stress, and anger.
Moreover, Paraguay and Panama led the list of countries in 2018 where adults reported "feeling a lot of positive emotions each day." The two both had a score of 85 in the positive experience index.
Latin American countries continue to dominate the top 10, according to the study.
"The single country outside this region that made the most positive list was Indonesia, which has appeared in the top group since 2017," it said.
On the other hand, conflict-ridden Afghanistan was the least positive country in the world for the second year in a row. It had the lowest score of 43 which is lower than its record last year.
Also in the bottom three were Belarus and Yemen. — LA, GMA News
