Alden Richards admits to being 'frustrated with his chubby cheeks' so he did something about it

If you think there's something different about Alden Richards, you're right.

At the press conference post-signing on Tuesday, Alden admitted to changing everything — from how he dressed to how he looked — after spending nine years in GMA looking just the same.

After being frustrated with his "chubby cheeks," The Asia's Multimedia Star admitted he underwent the jaw-slimming treatment Ulthera with the Belo Medical Clinic.

"Nafru-frustrate na rin ako na I have had this huge chubby cheeks since I started," Alden began during his media conference on Tuesday.

"In-encourage ako ni Doktora Belo na gawin ko 'to kasi this is non-invasive. This is high frequency laser lang."

According to Alden, he said yes to the procedure after the film project "Hello, Love, Goodbye" was offered to him and underwent the procedure three months before the film's shooting started.

The Asia's Multimedia Star considers his total makeover as a rebirth. "Nine years, itsura ko pare-pareho. Tumaba, tumaba nang tumaba nang tumaba pa rin. So ngayon it's a total makeover, galing sa sarili ko ang initiative."

Alden is set to have his primetime comeback with his new drama series "The Gift" which will premiere this September. — LA, GMA News
