Kyline Alcantara tries pole dancing for the first time
Pole dancing looks fun and sexy, but it's quite workout. A full-body exercise, pole dancing requires a lot of muscle control and upper-body strength.
Kyline Alcantara had to learn this the hard way in an episode of "Taste Buddies" on GMA News TV.
The Kapuso actress showed off her flexibility during some warm up exercises, as well as a bit of her sexy side. After working up a sweat and feeling a bit sore, Kyline said she would definitely love to go pole dancing again.
"I'm excited na gawin siya ulit, lalo na sa Studio 7 kasi (doon) marami kaming ginagawang buwis-buhay, kakaiba," she said.
The pole dancing instructor Aygell Acejas said Kyline was actually pretty good for a first-timer.
The instructor also said anybody who wants to try pole dancing can come join one of their fitness classes.
"Of course, you have to be ready, open-minded, and it's a different sport. Always start with a warm-up, and then we do some conditioning (exercises) on the pole and then we started some tricks, basically, spins and climbing." — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
Their pole dancing studio is located at the The Upper Deck Lifestyle Center at 6/F, Ortigas Technopoint, #1 Julia Vargas Ave. Ugong, Pasig City. Classes are on Mondays and Wednesdays.
