Bianca Umali makes DIY face mask with handkerchief, hair ties
Bianca Umali posted a video where she shows you how to make a face mask with only a handkerchief and two hair ties.
In the caption, the Kapuso actress called it a “simple way to be safe” amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) situation in the country.
Here's how she does it:
The government has ordered residents in areas covered by the enhanced community quarantine to wear face masks in public spaces to help slow the spread of COVID-19.
Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles has said the policy of mandatory wearing by all residents of face masks, earloop masks, indigenous, reusable or do-it-yourself masks, face shields, handkerchiefs, or such other protective equipment that can effectively lessen the transmission of the disease.
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has also called on local government units to pass an ordinance in their respective localities requiring the public to wear face masks as a preventive measure.
