PCG rescues 83-year-old dialysis patient in a flooded residence in Cagayan
The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) is really making sure nobody is left behind.
Rescue personnel from the PCG Station - Ilocos Norte on Sunday rescued an 83-year-old dialysis patient who was stranded in her flooded residence in Barangay Apusing Daga.
On Twitter, the PCG posted photos of the rescue, as the patient was brought to Barangay Abbeg, Alcala.
In another tweet, the PCG said the patient will be transferred to a rescue vehicle that will bring her to a hospital in Tuguegarao, so she can get the medical attention that she was scheduled to have two days ago.

While floodwaters were slowly subsiding on Sunday, several barangays in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan remain flooded due to the onslaught of Typhoon Ulysses.
At least 37 people died and 15 are missing in five regions affected by Typhoon Ulysses, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said on Saturday. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
