Iya Villania on her postpartum recovery: 'I changed a few things with my eating when I started to see change again'

Iya Villania took to Instagram to share an update on her recovery after giving birth to her third child, Baby Alana.

According to Iya, she's "currently at 58.4kgs and about 1.5kgs away from my pre-pregnancy weight with Alana."

"FYI, I was 52 kg pre-Primo!" Iya added in the caption of her Instagram post showing videos of herself doing workouts.

Iya said she "gained a permanent 2kg with each kid although this time, I’m hoping to work my way to 54kg, so I still have a fair way to go. Am I gonna get there? Who knows! but I’m gonna try!"

A while back, Iya said she reached a plateau and has been stuck at 62kg.

"It wasn’t until I changed a few things with my eating when I started to see change again," she wrote.

Iya said a nutrition team has been helping her track what she eats.

The "Chika Minute" host admitted that  "Working out isn’t a problem for me but the eating is a challenge coz this mama loves her sweets and bread!"

With the help she's been getting, Iya was able to develop "an eating habit that is doable with all factors considered like breastfeeding, amount of workout and sleep, food deliveries, etc."

Iya said she hasn't gone hardcore but it's already been 50 days since she started and she said "I can really feel and see the difference with the changes I’ve made."

She revealed that she tries her best "to avoid gluten, yeast, refined sugar and dairy."

"So if you know anyone who makes bread while avoiding the 4 I mentioned PLEASE LET ME KNOW!" she wrote.

"I do have a bite here and there to check what’s good (thanks to the food deliveries) but I’ve come a long way from eating a whole slice of cake to just having a bite," she added.

At about her fourth week postpartum, Iya proudly showed off her stretch marks, cellulite, and loose skin.
