This 99-year-old professional dancer from England works out six times a week to raise money for NHS
At 99 years old, a professional dancer from Sussex, England still got some groove in her and these days, she is doing it for a purpose.
According to a GMA Newsfeed video, Dinkie Flowers' goal is to gather funds to donate to the National Health Service (NHS), which gives benefits to senior citizens in their country and helps several charity organizations.
Before turning 100 years old on May 7, Dinkie has committed to working out six times a week, doing 3 sessions of 45 minute exercises and 20 minutes walking, which she plans to do on a weekly basis.
Aside from this, she will also have dance classes at her home garage three times a week.
“I love it, I love dancing. I hate telling people [when they ask], ‘How old are you Dinkie?’ What the hell does it matter how old I am?” Dinkie said, according to Daily Mail.
“I’m still living and I’m still going strong it doesn’t matter whether I’m 30 or 100!” she added. “I’m a terror for work. I don’t work because I like it. I wotk because I love it.”
At the peak of her dancing career, Dinkie perfromed for Iraq’s royal family.
She also performed in front of Prince Philip where she was also given a royal letter of thanks.
At 98 years old, Dinkie debuted on television for the show “The Greatest Dancer.”
