In an interview with GMA-7’s “Mars Pa More,” the actress, model and cosplayer said her "bad eating habits" in the past have taken a toll on her body's ability to digest food.

"Nagkaroon ako ng chronic disease sa intestine ko wherein nahirapan na 'yung body ko na mag-digest ng food dahil din siguro sa bad eating habits ko before (I got a chronic intestinal disease where my body is having a hard time digesting food, maybe because of my bad eating habits before)," she said.

"Before, I would wake up tapos the first thing that I would do is to grab a cup of coffee," she added. "Tapos 'yun agad 'yung iinumin so dahil doon, tumataas pala 'yung acid sa katawan ko (I used to drink coffee immediately after waking up. It turns out that it increases my acid levels)."

Due to her condition, Myrtle decided to stop drinking coffee and cut pork and beef out of her daily diet.

"Ngayon lahat ng kinakain ko na is fruits and vegetables. Nag-cut na rin ako ng meat (Now I only eat fruits and veggies)," she said.
