Jessica Villarubin has no regrets with new look, shares empowering message to those struggling with insecurities
Jessica Villarubin, who debuted her new look last March, said she has no regrets with the decision she made.
In an interview with GMA News Online during her contract signing with GMA, Jessica said it has changed her life, especially her confidence on stage.
"Iba po talaga as in grabe. Right now, I am confident na talaga sa sarili ko. Ibang iba talaga sa nafi-feel ko dati na kapag tumatayo ako sa stage naco-conscious ako alam mo ‘yun," she said.
[The confidence I'm feeling right now is different. It's a different kind of feeling too to stand on the stage now. Before, I was incredibly conscious about myself.]
"I'm happy with my decision. I have no regrets and I became a happier person," she added in Filipino.
Three months after she was named "The Clash Grand Champion," Jessica surprised her fans with her new look when she appeared in an episode of "All Out Sundays" in March.
In an interview with GMA News Online, the singer revealed it was no less than Dr. Vicki Belo who spearheaded her transformation.
To those who are struggling with insecurities, Jessica said "walang ibang magmamahal sa sarili niyo talaga."
"'Di naman talaga lahat may chance na mag-undergo ng enhancement, pero meron namang ibang ways para mawala ‘yung insecurities mo," she added.
Jessica advised them to focus on their passion and "surround yourself sa mga taong nagmamahal sayo."
"At wag isipin yung mga taong nagsasabi ng negative sayo kasi ikaw sa sarili mo alam mo naman kung sino ka," she added. — LA, GMA News
