Paul McCartney urges the public to 'be cool' by getting vaccinated
Paul McCartney was ever cool as he got vaccinated against COVID-19 and encouraged everyone else to do the same.
In recent social media posts, the Beatles vocalist shared a photo of him getting the jab while he is sporting a beanie, a printed face mask, and a plain blue shirt.
“Be cool. Get [vaccinated] - Paul,” he wrote in the caption of his post.
As of writing, Paul’s Facebook update reached 156,000 reactions, 19,000 shares and 7,200 comments from fans who can’t help but notice the English singer’s outfit.
“Such a bad boy attire,” one wrote.
“Love this. But we all know Paul McCartney is immortal and hasn’t aged since 1985!” another added.
In a previous interview with The Sun, Paul said he believes that the vaccine will “get us out of this.”
“I think we’ll come through it, I know we’ll come through, and it’s great news about the vaccine. I’ll have it as soon as I’m allowed,” he said.
According to data from the United Kingdom government, a total of over 85 million vaccines have been given in the country. —Franchesca Viernes/JCB, GMA News
