Jennylyn Mercado, Dennis Trillo reveal COVID-19 scare before the New Year
Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo had a COVID-19 scare before the New Year.
On their latest YouTube video, the newly married couple revealed getting sick and having a nasty cough before 2022 set in. They took several antigen and RT-PCR tests to confirm whether or not it was COVID-19 and all of them came out negative.
A lot of people in heir house did test positive though so Jennylyn and Dennis move to their condo, where they've been staying for two weeks already.
"After New Year, mga January 4, may isang tao na na-expose. Tapos ‘yun sunud-sunod na ‘yung buong bahay, except kaming dalawa ni Dennis at si Jazz," Jennylyn said.
However, Jazz couldn't stay with them in the condo because he was also exposed to his yaya who later tested positive for COVID-19.
“Kaya hindi namin kasama si Jazz ngayon kasi exposed naman siya roon sa yaya niya na positive rin. Sinigurado muna namin, siyempre baka maging carrier si Jazz at mahawa rin ako,” said Jen, who is six months pregnant.
According to Jen, Dennis has been taking care of her non-stop. "Si Dennis ang halos lahat gumagawa ng mga bagay rito sa condo. Ayaw niya naman akong pakilusin. Si Dennis ang nagluluto, lahat-lahat, naghuhugas, naglilinis,” she said.
The couple also shared that they have been extra careful since the pandemic started which is why they think they haven't caught the virus so far.
In the vlog, they showed how they handle packages arriving in their home.
