How does Barbie Forteza maintain her fit figure?
Keeping a fit figure takes a lot of hard work and discipline, and Barbie Forteza is one of the many celebrities who serve as an inspiration for many to jumpstart their fitness journey.
Before the Kapuso actress got to flaunt her bikini photos in her recent Bohol trip with boyfriend Jak Roberto, Barbie kept a regular diet that fit her lifestyle to maintain her toned body.
On the latest episode of “Surprise Guest with Pia Arcangel,” the actress shared more of her fitness tips.
According to Barbie, she used to give in to fad diet routines, such as intermittent fasting, every time she noticed she was gaining weight, but she couldn’t sustain it.
“Hindi ko siya ma-maintain, kasi ang hirap. So, sabi ko maghahanap na lang ako ng diet na pasok sa routine ko every day para hindi ako nape-pressure,” the actress told Pia in the podcast.
After several tries on fad diets, Barbie concluded that watching what she ate daily while working out regularly was the most sustainable way of keeping her weight in check.
As a certified “foodie,” Barbie admitted that she didn’t restrict herself to certain food groups, but she tried to lessen carbohydrates and replaced sweet desserts with fruits.
Barbie added that Jak was a huge part of her fitness journey, saying her boyfriend was very disciplined with his food intake and workout routine.
“Malaking tulong po sa akin [si Jak] dahil sabi ko nga po sa inyo mahilig akong kumain pero dahil sa kaniya, namo-motivate ako to watch what I eat,” she added.
