Dingdong Dantes says you have to choose to take care of the environment every day

Dingdong Dantes remains passionate about environmental protection, given that both his showbiz projects and personal advocacies through the years have always concerned nature and the fight against climate change.

As the host of the infotainment series “Amazing Earth,” Dingdong believes taking care of planet Earth not just involves lawmakers and policy makers, but also everyday folk like us. In fact, he says it has to start with us.

“Tayo naman talaga ang mga tagapangalaga ng itong magagandang bagay na binigay sa ‘tin ng Panginoon. I think everyone has their own role in taking care of all these God-given gifts."

“Mapa hayop man yan, mapa kalikasan man yan, kahit ano man, pati itong tinatamasan nating kalayaan diba, kailangan pangalagaan natin. Everyone should play a significant part by being responsible citizens,” he said during the “Amazing Earth” media conference.

Dingdong added that helping the environment and communities should not be a one-time thing. He believes that it must be a way of life.

“Kung ang commitment mo ay pangalagaan ito, you have to choose it every day at hindi lang because of convenience.”

“Amazing Earth” will be presenting episodes for their fourth anniversary starting on July 10, Sunday at 5:20 p.m. on GMA. Special guests for the anniversary episodes include Glaiza De Castro, Max Collins, Ruru Madrid, the Bataan Ecowarriors, and more.
