Bea Alonzo treats girl survivors of sexual exploitation to a fun field trip

To mark her 3M YouTube subscribers, Bea Alonzo treated girls survivors of sexual exploitation to a fun day out.

As seen on Bea's vlog, the girls were from the non-governmental organization, End Child Prostitution in Asian Tourism (ECPAT) Philippines, which works to end the sexual exploitation of children.

Bea treated the girls to a field trip at Dream Lab, a business simulation playground that aims to teach kids to be entrepreneurs.

Together with the girls, Bea made a keychain, painted ceramics, decorated cupcakes, concocted her own perfume, and more.

Toward the later part of the video, Bea also talked with a representative from ECPAT Philippines on their non-profit work and what people can do to help.

The communications staff from ECPAT Philippines, who only went by the name Kakai, said donations, which can be in the form of psychosocial activities, like what Bea did, are most welcome.

"This kind of activities helps them in terms of their recovery and healing. Even 'yung mga ganitong klase po, na pagbisita, pagpo-provide ng mga ganitong klaseng activities with them -- it is really helpful para sa mga bata," said Kakai.

ECPAT seeks to empower not just the girls but the community the girls belong to, so that they will know their rights. In fact, the NGO has an Internet hotline where people can report "child sexual abuse material" like child pornography and an incident of sexual exploitation either on their website or their official ECPAT Philippines Facebook page.

This is the second time Bea treated the girls of ECPAT. She previously visited them in ECPAT's HQ on the occasion of her vlog's 100th episode.

"Dahil 3M strong na kami, naisip ko, dapat kayo ulit makasama ko," Bea told the ECPAT girls on the vlog. "This time, gusto ko naman maiba. Lumabas naman tayo."
