Ate Gay shares positive update after three days of radiation therapy

Ate Gay has some positive updates regarding his health condition.

On Facebook, the comedian shared that the lump on his neck had shrunk just three days into his radiation therapy.

“[Ang bilis] ng pagliit ng bukol in 3 days. 10cm naging 8.5. Maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat na nanalangin ng aking [agarang] paggaling. Patuloy lang po,” he shared.

Ate Gay revealed his stage 4 cancer diagnosis on “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho" Sunday.

He is currently on the fourth day of his radiation therapy at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Muntinlupa, thanks to an anonymous donor whom he referred to as his “angel."

Even with his condition, Ate Gay has been keeping a positive and hopeful outlook, sharing heartfelt photos of himself with the health care workers, as well as snaps of him striking poses at the hospital

Blessings indeed are pouring in for Ate Gay. Previously, he got a surprise visit from a doctor who was also his fan.

In 2021, Ate Gay overcame pneumonia and said he is on his “second life.”
