Ate Gay shares positive updates as neck lump continues to shrink after treatment
Ate Gay shared an encouraging health update about the lump near his neck, which he said has been healing quickly as he continues undergoing treatment.
On Facebook, the comedian posted photos after his first session and said that he had already noticed improvements.
"Napakagaling ng Cyberknife at ng doctor ko sa Asian Hospital. Ambilis maghilom ng bukol ko oh. One session palang 'yan. thank you Lord," Ate Gay wrote.
Following his second session, Ate Gay said his doctor was pleased with how fast the lump was responding to treatment.
"Thank You Lord. Sabi ng Doctor ko bakit sa akin ang bilis maghilom ng bukol ko. Dami kasi nagdadasal," he said.
On Wednesday, Ate Gay posted another brief update as he underwent his third CyberKnife session.
Last week, Ate Gay revealed that doctors had found a lump below his neck near his shoulder, prompting him to undergo a five-session CyberKnife treatment at Asian Hospital.
CyberKnife is a robotic, non-invasive radiation therapy system that delivers highly targeted radiation to treat certain tumors and other medical conditions without surgery.
Just last month, Ate Gay said that he no longer has lumps on his neck following his MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging).
In a September 2025 episode of "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho," Ate Gay disclosed his Stage 4 cancer diagnosis, and since then, blessings have been pouring in for the comedian.
An anonymous donor helped him with his radiation therapy at the Asian Hospital, while a fan lent a condo unit nearby for the comedian's convenience.
After six days of treatment, the lump on his neck had visibly shrunk. In an October 2025 interview with Nelson Canlas, Ate Gay gave the lowdown of his full treatment: 35 days of radiation and five times a week of chemotherapy.
Last November, Ate Gay said he already "graduated" from radiation and chemotherapy.
An update from December 2025 also showed that the lump on his neck has already flattened.
