David Licauco's 'chill run' lands him in 1st place at QC fun run

On Instagram, the Pambansang Ginoo shared his Strava data after participating in a fun run in Quezon City.
According to David's Strava, he finished the 5-kilometer run under 19 minutes — 18:57 to be exact — putting him in first place among the participants.
“Chill run,” David captioned.
Sparkle also shared more photos of David from the event, along with official information that he blazed the run with a "19:27 finish time."
David is quite the athlete. On his Instagram account, he constantly shares photos and videos of himself in the gym, playing basketball, or going for runs.
The Kapuso actor is fresh from competing in Hyrox Bangkok, where he ranked No. 4 among Filipinos, 17th in his age group, and 39th overall.
In March, David debuted at Hyrox Taipei and recorded the fastest time by a Filipino participant in the Open Division in Asia. He also ranked no. 1 among all Filipino participants in the Taipei leg.
In June, he set a new personal record at Hyrox Jakarta 2026, clocking 1:07:38, which was the fastest time recorded by a Filipino participant across all age groups.
Hyrox is a global indoor fitness race that combines running and functional workout stations. To complete the entire routine, participants run one kilometer, then complete one functional workout station, repeating the cycle eight times.
