Ben&Ben releases 'deeper, more mature' version of 'Leaves'
Ben&Ben is back with a reimagined version of one of their classics!
The folk-pop OPM band released a new version of their 2017 song “Leaves,” known as an anthem for those who are lost, with the hope that everything will be alright in time after heartbreak. In the new verse, Ben&Ben sings about hoping to receive the love they always selflessly give.
On Instagram, Ben&Ben said they reflected on “the reality of life and love.”
“The people closest to our hearts sometimes hurt us the most. But on the other side of that, we can still heal and love again,” the band said.
Ben&Ben hopes fans “enjoy this deeper, more mature version of ‘Leaves.’”
“We've grown older as a band with you, our Liwanag. We hope this reimagined version reflects your life’s experiences, and we hope you experience the healing you deserve, in time,” Ben&Ben said.
Ben&Ben's last release was "Duyan," which dropped in January. It came with a romantic music video starring real-life Kapuso couple Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos.
They also recently dropped the reimagined versions of “Autumn” and “Lifetime.”
In 2024, Ben&Ben released the album "The Traveller Across Dimensions," which includes the tracks "Could Be Something," "Comets," and "Triumph."
The band went on a world tour in support of the album.
Ben&Ben will be holding a concert titled “Saranggola” on October 2 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
