'Dogshow Divas' following Joy Barcoma's departure: 'We will never condone or tolerate hate'
Following Joy Barcoma’s announcement that she is stepping away from guest-hosting “Dogshow Divas,” the podcast founded by Baus Rufo and Macoy Dubs has issued a statement, expressing gratitude toward Joy for being part of the podcast.
“The ‘Dogshow Divas’ family is super grateful for all the time, energy, laughter, and jokes you’ve shared with us,” read the statement posted on Instagram Tuesday.
“We will never condone or tolerate hate in any form,” it added. “Your peace and well-being should always be protected.”
The statement ended with the podcast expressing its full support for Joy and her future endeavors.
In her earlier statement, the Miss Earth Philippines 2025 said she was aware of the comments surrounding her guest appearances, although she did not provide further context.
“I’ve always been grateful whenever I’m invited to join podcasts when my schedule allows, but how often I appear isn’t something I personally control,” she said.
“[I’m grateful] to everyone who supported us, but for now, I’m choosing to protect my peace,” she added. “All the best to Dogshow Divas!”
