Marvel Studios just released a new teaser for “Avengers: Doomsday,” offering a brief look at the upcoming superhero film through a baseball-themed preview featuring Major League Baseball (MLB) players.

The teaser features Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, also known as Mister Fantastic, alongside his fellow Fantastic Four members Ben Grimm (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) and Johnny Storm (Joseph Quinn) at a baseball game.

The preview also features MLB players Bryce Harper, Freddie Freeman, Jacob Misiorowski, Junior Caminero and Randy Arozarena, alongside glimpses of familiar Marvel characters, including Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), Shuri, Magneto (Ian McKellen), Cyclops, and Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.).

The teaser offers little detail about the film's plot but includes a line from Doctor Doom: “You have lived stolen lives. But now you must give them back.”

“Avengers: Doomsday” is set to arrive on December 18.

Previous teasers confirm the return of Chris Evans' Steve Rogers, Chris Hemsworth's Thor, and the original X-Men: Patrick Stewart's Professor X, Ian McKellen's Magneto, and James Marsden's Cyclops.

The Wakandans, led by the new Black Panther, Shuri, are also joining. —Carby Rose Basina/JCB, GMA News
