JAM with J-pop artists and cheer for your favorite characters at Cosplay Mania 2017
It's a weekend filled with all things anime as Cosplay Mania 2017 services fans from September 30 to October 1.
The two-day event is packed with activities, the main highlight of which — of course — are the cosplay competitions. Dressing up as characters from anime remains a popular hobby in the Philippines and members of fan communities are finding ways to use the influence they (and the heroes) have positively.

For those interested in getting into cosplay or honing their craft, Canadian cosplayer Hikarin will be holding workshops under "Hikarin's Cosplay Classroom."
Cosplay Mania will continue to delight with JAM (Japanese Anime Music) Concert, bringing J-Pop artists kradness, Konomi Suzuki, Shiena Nishizawa, and ELISA to the stage.
All four artists will also be sitting down for separate interviews, along with Sayo Yamamoto and Fuuko Noda (producer and director of "Yuri!!! on ICE") and Japanese voice actors Wataru Hatano ("Fairy Tail", "My Hero Academia") and Koutaro Nishiyama ("Cute High Earth Defense Club Love!", "Jewelpet: Magical Change").
Performing prior to the JAM Concert are Seishun Kakumei and Jarhead Syndrome.
Be sure to bring extra cash, as games, gadgets, and sought-after collectibles will also be on offer.
Cosplay Mania was established in 2008 and has since become an annual pilgrimage for fans of anime.
Tickets start selling at P399 at SM Ticket outlets. For more information on Cosplay Mania, its events, and its experience zones, visit the official Facebook page.
