Is that the Banaue Rice Terraces at the very end of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’?


If you’ve seen “Avengers: Infinity War” and think the scene at the end looks a little too damn familiar, you are absolutely right.

For everybody who is just about to see it this weekend, here’s a pro-tip: Stay focused to the very end of the movie. Yup, until the very last shot.

None other than our own Banaue Rice Terraces make an appearance.

Indochina Productions, a production partner based in Thailand, gave themselves a pat on the back by of a Facebook post. “Super proud of our team who helped on the aerial unit for Avengers Infinity War in the Philippines,” read a portion of the caption that accompanied photos of the credit roll and the actual Banaue shot.

The filmmakers also confirmed it to Unang Hirit’s Lyn Ching, who was pretty lucky nab a one-on-one with Infinity Wars director Joe Russo and producer Trinh Tran in Sinagpore.

In her interview with them, Joe told Lyn that the actors “all got fake scripts.”
