A word on the handsome topdown Jaguar that Meghan and Prince Harry rode in after the wedding

Excuse Meghan Markle’s impeccable Stella McCartney second wedding dress ; everybody's attention has been turned to that handsome Jaguar topdown car.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex — that’s Prince Harry and Meghan Markle post-wedding — exited the Windsor Castle for an evening reception at the Frogmore Castle via a handsome silver blue Jaguar.

According to the social media accounts of Kensington Palace, the Jaguar the newlyweds rode in, is an E-Type Concept Zero model.

Originally manufactured in 1968 as the 1.5 Series Jaguar E-Type Roadster, the car has since been converted to electric power, which is where the zero comes in.

The “zero” in its name means it has zero emissions. The car is among the Jaguar Lightweight E-types that are being restored and converted at Jaguar’s Land Rover Classic Works facility in Coventry.

According to website Jalopnik meanwhile, “instead of an engine, the electric powertrain goes 0-62 mph in 5.5 seconds.” — LA, GMA News
