Have wheels, will travel: Man uses his wheelchair to go on road trip around PHL
An accident took away the lower parts of his legs and burned much of his body, but Jonald Vincent "JV" Solomon has other matters on his mind, such as traveling from Manila to Bicol by means of his wheelchair.
According to a report on 24 Oras and a report by GMA News stringer Peewee Bacuño, the Cavite resident has been on the road for the past 15 days, wheeling himself to Bicol with his belongings sitting in another wheelchair that he tows behind him.
He wheels down the road rain or shine, and rests wherever he ends up at night. He said that on his journey, he meets many people who give him food and water.

JV is currently in Quezon Province. His reason for heading to Bicol? To visit family and to see the sights.
On a past trip, he traveled for two months to reach Buscalan in Kalinga, where he was tattooed by the legendary mambabatok Apo Whang-Od.
JV said he has never gone on these trips for the attention; his goal is to test his limits and to serve as an inspiration to fellow Filipinos with disabilities.
After Bicol, his next goal is to reach the Visayas. — BM, GMA News
