Malasimbo announces new venue, incredible lineup
Best believe it: Local music festival pioneer Malasimbo is hitting its 9th edition this year!
And as such, the always-awaited event has some surprises, chief of which is a new venue. After holding the event at the Malasimbo Amphitheater, the two-day festival will move to a private nature reserve park at the back of Puerto Galera’s White Beach. It’s going to be on March 1-2.
What makes the new venue special, you may ask? Well, there’s a wild jungle, a virgin beach, and lots and lots of breathtaking sunset views.

The festival will bring back the oft-talked about Malasimboat parties, on top of the Silent Disco section, a new DJ stage, and a pretty strong lineup.
Robert Glasper, Danny Krivit, Ruby Ibarra, Laneous will join Filipino favorites IV of Spades, classically trained keyboardist Anomalie, blues bigwig Ian Lofamia and jazz funk outfit Extrapolation. More artists will be announced in the coming days. — LA, GMA News
