RPDR's Bianca Del Rio's advice to 20-somethings: 'I think you just need to get through, keep moving'

Monday's press conference of her "It's Jester Joke" show, RuPaul's Drag Race sixth season winner Bianca Del Rio gave an advice to 20-somethings.

"I think you just need to get through," Bianca said when a reporter asked what a 20-something should do: go a career for passion or for money?

The American drag queen comedian noted that what's essential is to keep on moving.

"They gotta get through life, you know get through high school get through college and then you can figure it out but in the meantime, keep moving. I always say it's important to keep moving."

Bianca admitted that she didn't plan to be where she is now and it has only developed into this kind of success because she never stopped.

"I didn't plan to do this. I mean obviously this was not a choice, but it is something that through life it eventually evolved into this."

Bianca said she's never one to list goals but she's the kind who would always say yes to opportunities that come along.

"So it's kinda like say yes and yes and something comes along, then of course it changes your path, but I've never been the person to say, "this is my goal, I'm gonna make that happen." That's too much pressure for somebody."

Bianca said people have to live and accept failures at times.

"You gotta live a little bit if you don't fall down, you don't realize how great it is if you're up. It always goes back and forth, trust me."

On sharing life on social media

Even though she admitted that internet is a huge part of her life, she said she tries to to keep things on the internet professional.

"Then I find it fascinating, everyone's world does revolve around it, honestly it's a huge part of my life because I didn't have Twitter or Instagram before Drag Race so it's interesting to see all of this, that's happening, but I try to keep it as professional as possible."

Bianca chooses to keep her personal life and fun moments to herself, advising the young ones to think twice before putting everything on social media.

"You know fun times but I don't put all of my business so I would suggest the kids maybe not run to... think about it before you run to social media 'cause you know how many people are deleting tweets in the middle of the night, you'll see that especially politicians, yeah." — LA, GMA News

"It's Jester Joke," Bianca del Rio's debut show in Manila is happening on March 12 and 13 at Samsung Hall in SM Aura Premier.
