Everybody knows how much Heart Evangelista loves her dogs, but on Monday, we all saw just how important her furry friends really are to Heart Evangelista.

It was a distressing Monday afternoon for the Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaborations when she lost one of her five dogs, Casper.

Heart immediately took to Twitter to ask for help, and despite having previous engagements, she kept at it, answering netizens' questions, providing more details and finally updating everybody that yes! Casper was found!

The incident taught us more about Heart: her compassion for animals, how big her faith really is, and how she shows her gratitude. Heart shared to everyone her encounter with a certain Mang Jun, who took care of lost dogs on Gilmore. It was all very enlightening, to say the least.

Perhaps this is exactly the fuel to all her activities, becoming a PAWS celebrity advocate, campaigning for people to #AdoptDontShop, and her plans of putting up a dog shelter in Sorsogon where her husband Chiz Escudero is the incumbent governor.
