Celebrating 20 light years

There are days when the universe conspires to bring you an amazing celebration so that no matter how long the night may be, there’s enough fun to fill it to the brim.

A Throwback Party raged at the Metrowalk Central Plaza last November 8 for San Mig Light’s 20th Anniversary and beer drinkers enjoyed buckets of fun as they waited with bated breath for the night’s surprise guest.

The more than enthusiastic crowd welcomed throwback tunes from the energetic Zion and the Jixies. This was followed by OPM band Moonstar 88 who brought with them their hits as the audience continued to sing along, all while enjoying the light and full beer flavor of San Mig Light.

As the night and the throwback tunes peaked, the party’s surprise guest entered the stage: the dazzling Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray!

The surprised San Mig Light crowd was given a chance for a quick meet and greet with the 2018 Miss Universe as she announced a 20th anniversary treat for everyone at the celebration. At 20:00 that night, for only 20 minutes, San Mig Light would cost only P20!
