NWPC reminds public that February 14 is not a holiday
Warning to couples: This may break your heart.
While many people would want to celebrate Valentine's Day, the National Wages and Productivity Commission is here to remind you that you cannot skip work on February 14 for a romantic date.
"Because even if love makes the world go round, February 14 is still not a holiday," the NWPC said on a Facebook post, complete with a laughing emoji.
Heart's Day falls on a Friday, which means it is a working day. Maybe couples can celebrate Valentine's Day some other time. —Ma. Angelica Garcia/MGP, GMA News
