Enchanted Kingdom temporarily halts operations amid COVID-19 threat
Enchanted Kingdom announced on Friday that the Laguna-based theme park will be closed until April due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) threat in the country.
Posting its updated park schedule on Facebook, the company said that it will suspend operations from Saturday, March 14 until April 12. It added the schedule was "subject to further updates."
"We will continue to monitor the current situation and advise changes accordingly. Please continue to check our official social media accounts for updates," EK wrote in a statement.
On Thursday, the Philippines has recorded a total of 52 confirmed COVID-19 cases, with five deaths.
