BTS launches web series where fans can learn Korean
Good news for all you K-pop fans stuck at home: BTS just launched a web series that can help you learn how to speak Korean!
According to the band’s label, Big Hit Entertainment, “Learn Korean With BTS” is now available on the Weverse app, which you can download from the app store or Google Play.
“We hope that through learning Korean, global fans will be able to relate more deeply to our artists’ music and better enjoy a wide range of content," Big Hit said in a statement.
Three episodes have been released so far, and they include lessons on how to introduce yourself, say hello and goodbye in Korean.
According to Soompi, BTS will host 30 episodes on Weverse, which they started releasing March 24.
Big Hit dropped the web series as nations battle the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and more and more people are urge to stay home.
The entire Luzon region in the Philippines is under enhanced community quarantine due to the rise in COVID-19 cases.
The number of confirmed cases in the country has risen to 552 as of Tuesday, whereas 35 have died, 20 have recovered and 704 tested negative.
