Bored? This family got creative and made a sungka board out of tuna cans
To keep their kids from getting bored during the enhanced community quarantine period, a couple in Meycauayan, Bulacan created their very own sungka board using... recycled cans.
The mother, Precy Aparicio, said the board was made out of recycled cans of tuna, which is a favorite of her two children.
They also made the board safe for kids to play with by getting rid of the sharp edges before putting them together.
Getting creative is great for kids, who have been spending a lot of time at home — not to mention the budget.
Several jobs have been affected by the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine expected expected to be in effect until April 30 in a bid to arrest the spread of the virus.
