Father builds mini swimming pool for his kids in Bataan
A man in Mariveles, Bataan has built a mini swimming pool so his kids can enjoy the summer amid the enhanced community quarantine.
In a Facebook post, Rhobie Poco shared how her father built the pool in their backyard in just one week.
The pool, which measures 8.5 square feet and has a height of three feet, cost around P10,000 exclusive of labor fees.
"Dahil may ECQ po, di kami puwede mag-outing this year kaya nagpagawa na lang ng maliit na pool para kahit papaano, makapag-swimming at mag-enjoy 'yung mga bata," she said.
Rhobie said their neighbors initially thought her father was building a fish pond.
For those who are interested in building their own pool, she shared the materials her father used:
2 cubics sand
12 bags of cement
8 rebars
130 pcs hollow blocks
G-I wire
5 Sahara
Concrete neutralizer poison
4 Elbow pvc pipes and 2 valves (for water supply)
2 inches pvc pipe and valve (drain)
1 pvc pipe
1 gallon flexibond paint
1 gallon latex paint
"Meron pong 2 inches pvc pipe with valve sa flooring para sa pag drain ng water. Meron din pong pipes for water supply," Rhobie added. "Hindi po mano mano ang pag lagay at pag tanggal ng tubig."
