Pasig vice mayor auctions off own motorcycle to raise funds for Covid-19 efforts

Pasig City Vice Mayor Iyo Bernardo is auctioning off his own motorcycle to raise funds and provide assistance for frontliners and families amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic.

According to Bernardo, he will include his Kawasaki Vulcan S650 motorcycle in his “Sneakers Auction for a Cause” fundraising initiative.

The initiative, which was launched only in March, has already sold 220 sneakers and raised over P340,000.

Bernardo shared that apart from his motorcycle and sneakers, he will also include in the auction sports memorabilia and other valuable items.

“Open po at welcome sa ating auction ang lahat ng gustong sumali,” the Pasig City vice mayor said.

He also thanked the donors, which included celebrities, basketball players, and vloggers, assuring them that their help “will go a long way.” – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
