Trouble sleeping? Voice actress Inka Magnaye's podcast might be what you need

In these troubling times, you might find yourself wide awake at night when you should be sleeping.

Luckily, talented voice actress Inka Magnaye recently started a podcast called "Sleeping Pill with Inka."

With her relaxing, soothing voice, Inka reads poems and books to ease her listener's anxieties and help them fall asleep.

This all started because reading poetry out loud became my own therapy. It helped me so much, I thought, “Why not upload it online?” I thought that maybe other people who needed it might find solace in something that could help put them into a deep, comfortable sleep. And then this happened. You asked for it, and we listened. A relaxing voice. Soothing audio. Reading poems and books that can ease your anxieties and help you fall asleep at night. "Sleeping Pill" is a meditative and ASMR podcast with me, Inka Magnaye, under Cut Print Podcast Network. The teaser is up and you can listen to it via the link on my bio! First episode drops on May 22 ?

Her podcast is the first ASMR meditation podcast from the Philippines.

"I like to call it Sleeping Pill — the healthy kind. Let me ease your worries, give you a safe space where you don't have to think about anything for just a little bit," she said in her teaser.

The podcast has two (official) episodes so far, but already it's making waves in Spotify. As of posting, it's the Top 4 in Spotify's Podcast Charts. But when she launched the first episode, it hit number one.

Inka shot to popularity after posting a video of her and her mom Lindy reciting the script for Philippine Airlines' in-flight reminders.

Both women were among PAL's in-flight voice actresses, Lindy getting the gig in the 90's, and Inka eventually being chosen for the job in a blind audition.

They were both featured in a recent episode of "Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho."
