YouTuber Jake Paul accused of ‘taking credit’ for Black Lives Matter fundraiser
YouTube star Jake Paul has come under fire for allegedly taking credit for another creator’s fundraiser for the Black Lives Matter movement.
Paul retweeted a netizen’s tweet implying that he raised $32,000 for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) “with yalls help.”
YouTuber Frederic Chen or ThatMidgetAsian, who organized the said fundraiser, tweeted about Paul’s post and slammed him for “taking the credit.”

For anyone who is still confused about this, we all know the exposure of the fundraiser is good, no matter what.

But I’d rather not let Jake Paul once again, manipulate his audience into thinking he genuinely cares about social change.
Paul eventually deleted his tweet, but Chen shared a screen grab.
All of this came about when Jake Paul was already a hot topic after being accused of taking part in looting a business in Scottsdale, Arizona, during the Black Lives Matter protests on May 30.
The vlogger, however, aired his side in a video posted on June 3, claiming he was only documenting the situation.
