IU releases dreamy music video for ‘Into the I-LAND’
IU has released the full music video for “Into the I-LAND,” the official theme song for a new K-pop reality show called “I-LAND.”
The dreamy music video shows young and excited contestants who enter a futuristic structure in the middle of a forest. Inside, they transform into K-pop superstars who seem like they're getting ready for the performance of their lives.
"I-LAND" is a reality show that follows the creation process of next-generation K-Pop artists, Soompi reports.
The upcoming reality show is the first project of BELIF+, a joint venture by CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment.
An earlier teaser video for "Into the I-LAND" featured Rain, Zico and Big Hit Entertainment CEO Bang Si-hyuk, who are expected to appear as mentors on the show.
The full music video, released on June 19 in YouTube, is currently at the 20th spot of the trending list. As of writing, the video has 2,389,365 views. — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
