Blackpink on collab with Lady Gaga: ‘It’s difficult to believe we’ve worked together’

Blackpink members have shared that they still can’t believe they have worked with Lady Gaga on her new album “Chromatica.”

“It was an honor that she told us she was a fan because she liked the uniqueness and color we possessed,” said member Jennie during the group’s global press conference on Friday, according to a report by Soompi. 

She added, “Since she’s an artist we’ve liked and respected a lot since pre-debut, it’s difficult to believe we’ve worked together. I’m very glad it was fun working together.”

“Sour Candy,”  the track that Lady Gaga and Blackpink worked on, have reached No. 1 on Spotify Philippines Top 50 Chart. 

Jisoo said that by working with international artists, both parties could gain positive influences from each other.

“Through our musical exchange, we stimulate each other, and it’s an opportunity to gain inspiration,” she said.

The 4-member K-Pop girl band released today their highly anticipated comeback single “How You Like That” and its accompanying music video.

As part of the group’s promotions, Blackpink will perform “How You Like That” for the first time on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on NBC 11:35 p.m. ET.

With their upcoming US appearance, Rosé said: “Through this opportunity, I felt once more that music is universal. Music seems to overcome the barrier of language.” – RC, GMA News
