Commercial model finds success selling bagnet online amid pandemic
A commercial model and freelance actor is now selling bagnet online to support his family amid the community quarantine.
According to Tina Panganiban-Perez' report on "24 Oras," Eisen Lim used to earn P50,000 to P100,000 per month just with his appearances in ads and films.
He also ran a tapsilog diner for a more stable income, but the pandemic took all of his livelihood away from him.
"Never kong in-expect na mahihinto 'yung mga shoots. Talagang nakaka-depress siya sa mind, sa heart," he said.

Eisen has a one-year-old baby with his partner Natalie, so he thought of alternative ways to provide for their needs.
He also wanted to help his diner employees, some of whom had to survive on noodles or eating only two meals per day.
He and Natalie decided to cook bagnet and sell it online. To their surprise, it became an instant hit, netting them around P60,000 to P80,000 per month.

"Prayer ko lang kay Lord, sabi ko basta may diaper lang 'yung baby namin, ok na. May pang suweldo lang sa staff, ok na. Kahit wala na kami," Eisen said.
"Nagulat kami mas humigit pa 'yung kita nung online kaysa dito sa puwesto namin before pandemic," he added.
With their business booming, Eisen also managed to help some of the riders in his neighborhood find work. He and Natalie also distributed food packs to the homeless to give back what they have received.
"Kung pinupuno ni Lord ng blessings 'yung baso mo, dapat i-share mo 'to sa mga walang laman," he said. —MGP, GMA News
