Group sells Ellen Adarna-inspired jump ropes to raise funds for orphaned children
An organization is selling jump ropes inspired by Ellen Adarna to raise funds for abandoned and orphaned children.
According to Rope Flow Philippines (RFP), the “Adarna” rope is inspired both by the mythical Ibong Adarna and “modern-day Filipina fitspiration, Ellen Adarna, who has inspired many Filipinos to invite Rope into their lives.”
Sharing RFP’s posters on her Instagram account on Friday, the actress wrote: “What started as my favorite pastime is now going to help children who need our love and support!”
Aside from using 30% of the sales from the first Adarna flow ropes to buy food and hygiene kits for public school and street children hit by the pandemic, RFP shared it would also donate a portion of its sales to Project Proverbs.
Project Proverbs, it said, was a cause chosen specifically by Ellen herself.
According to RFP, the Project Proverbs helps orphaned and abandoned Filipino children and regularly supplies those in need with food, hygiene, school, and baby supply kits. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
