BTS drops teaser photos for new English single ‘Dynamite’

BTS has dropped teaser photos for its latest comeback!

The South Korean supergroup shared their second teaser Wednesday night in the run-up for the release of their latest single “Dynamite” on Aug. 21. 

Last Monday, the group shared their first set of photos, featuring the members rocking casual outfits amid an off-white wall background and giving off a retro vibe.

BTS has begun promotions for “Dynamite” through updates on social media and music streaming platforms, among other activities.

In the US, particularly, the track will be released in digital, as well as limited edition vinyl and cassette formats.

The first batch of preorders for the vinyls and cassettes sold out in less than an hour, while a second one also quickly sold out last week.

“Dynamite” marks the first time for the group to release a standalone single album.

BTS earlier said the new song would have a fun and energetic vibe and would be recorded in English.

The members hoped that the song would give positivity and comfort to people all over the world who are exhausted due to the coronavirus disease pandemic.

The group is releasing the single ahead of their self-produced album, which is expected to come out later this year.

There is no confirmation, however, if “Dynamite” will be part of the new album.

Last month, BTS released their 4th Japanese album, “Map of the Soul: 7 – The Journey,” which broke records in Japan’s charts and topped iTunes in at least 81 countries.

BTS earlier announced that they’re working on a self-produced record following the February release of “Map of the Soul: 7,” the year’s best-selling album worldwide. – RC, GMA News
