K-pop group Treasure trends on Twitter after releasing new single 'I Love You'

YG Entertainment's newest K-pop group Treasure has dropped a music video for their new single "I Love You."

The song is the second installment of their "The First Step" series, with their debut single "Boy" as the first chapter.

The newcomers impressed fans, whose enthusiasm for the new release catapulted Treasure into the no. 1 trending topic on Twitter on Friday.

Treasure previously made waves after doing an a capella version of Blackpink's "Whistle."

The K-pop group is composed of Korean and Japanese members, namely Choi Hyun-suk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Mashiho, Jaehyuk, Asahi, Bang Ye-dam, Doyoung, Haruto, Park Jeong-woo, and So Jung-hwan.

The group was formed through survival reality show YG Treasure Box which aired from 2018 to 2019. —MGP, GMA News
