'Cyberpunk 2077' releases action-packed trailer starring Keanu Reeves

A new trailer for the video game “Cyberpunk 2077” has just been released, and it features Keanu Reeves.

The thirty-second clip posted by game developer CD Projekt Red showed the "John Wick" actor introducing the game, with Billie Eillish's “Bad Guy” playing in the background.

"In 2077, what makes someone a criminal? Getting caught," Keanu says.

The video then cuts to a series of action-packed scenes that show off some of the game's exciting gameplay and mind-blowing graphics.

"In Night city, you can become anyone. Anything...if your body can pay the price," Keanu can be heard saying.

The actor then jumps in a car and says, "So seize the day, and set it on fire" before shutting the door.

“Cyberpunk 2077” is an open-world, action-adventure story by CD Projekt Red, the developer of the popular “The Witcher” franchise.

The story takes place in Night City, "a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification."

Keanu Reeves is expected to play a character named Johnny Silverhand, for which he has lent his appearance, voice and full-body motion capture.

The player, on the other hand, assumes the role of V, "a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality"

Here's an earlier cinematic trailer:
