VP Leni Robredo shares household tips

Vice President Leni Robredo has shared tips on how she organizes and manages her household.

In a Facebook post on Saturday, Robredo listed down household tips that have worked for her, with organizing our grocery list at the top of the list.

“Pag alam mo ang lahat na laman ng ref mo at pantry, hindi ka mag oover-buy,” Robredo wrote.

Meanwhile, she added that their shelves were assigned specific numbers and all of the items inside were encoded in a Google Drive shared among the family members.

“Para kung biglaan na may mapadaan sa amin sa grocery, puwede ma-access sa telepono namin kung anong kailangan sa bahay,” the Vice President said. “Also, kung may hinahanap kami, titingnan lang namin sa Google Drive kung saan na shelf or cabinet siya nakalagay. Hindi na kailangan maghalughog ng mga cabinets.”

If you’re someone who cooks and takes care of plants, Robredo also advised that it would be helpful if you plant the ingredients you’d be needing in the kitchen.

“Hindi kailangan ng malaking space. Nakatira kami sa condo at lahat na tanim ko ay nasa pots lang,” she shared.

Robredo added, “At nasa labas lang sila ng bintana ng aming kusina. Malaking tipid na hindi mo na bibilhin ang mga herbs na kailangan mo. Kahit calamansi, kamatis at sili, nasa pot din.” – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
