Live action 'Monster Hunter' drops gripping trailer

The trailer for the live-action film adaptation for "Monster Hunter" is out!

"Resident Evil" star Milla Jovovich now takes on the role of Captain Artemis as she leads her team of soldiers across the monster-filled alternate universe they were transported to. She meets a man named Hunter and partners with him to take down the monsters.

Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, who also directed the live action "Resident Evil," the film is based on the popular video game franchise "Monster Hunter"  which first hit shelves in 2004. Players take on the role of a Hunter and slay monsters and complete quests.

It is regarded as game developer Capcom's second best-selling video game after "Resident Evil." —JCB, GMA News
