Carmina Villarroel gets scared of COVID-19 swab test

Carmina Villarroel showed her vulnerable side to netizens after vlogging about her experience of the swab test.

According to Cata Tibayan's report on "24 Oras," the whole Villarroel family had to undergo COVID-19 testing for Mavy and Cassy's endorsement shoot.

In the video, Carmina was visibly pale and nervous despite the family's efforts to calm her down. The actress and TV host admitted she could not sleep the night before.

"Ngayon alam na ng mga tao kung gaano ako kaduwag," the Villarroel matriarch said in the vlog.

Her husband, Zoren Legaspi, was puzzled with her fear of the test, as Carmina could endure more painful procedures just fine.

"Hindi ako natatakot sa injection, hindi ako natatakot sa bunot ng ngipin," the actress said.

Carmina said it must be because it was her first time undergoing the swab test. When it was done, she hugged Zoren for comfort.

Mavy and Cassy said they found the situation amusing.

"Before the swab even happened nag-tear up siya," the twins said. "We found it funny kasi parang naging bata si mommy." —MGP, GMA News
